100 Bead Necklace

A necklace of a hundred beads strung in ten runs of ten, the colours alternating so each group of ten can be counted, tied with a knot at the top.

Grouped in tens by colour rather than strung at random, because the point of the necklace is that a child can count it in tens and get to a hundred.
