Our position

ClipartDay publishes artwork that is either produced in house or derived from public domain and CC0 source material. We review provenance before publication, but no process is perfect — if you believe a file infringes a copyright you own or represent, we want to know.

How to file a notice

Send us a written notice through the contact form (choose "Copyright / DMCA") that includes:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
2. The exact URL of the page or file on this site that you say is infringing
3. Your name, address, telephone number and email address
4. A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf
6. Your physical or electronic signature

What we do

Valid notices are acted on promptly — in most cases the file is taken down while we investigate, not after. We will notify you of the outcome. We also maintain a repeat infringer policy covering any contributor whose submissions attract repeated valid notices.

Counter-notice

If content of yours was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice containing your contact details, identification of the removed material and its previous location, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the removal was in error.

Bad-faith notices

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages. Please be sure before you file.
